Catie Steidl

Dr. Steidl is an archaeologist of Mediterranean migration. With research in Anatolian Ionia, southern France, and northeastern Spain, she is interested in the relationship between long-term mobility, communal identity, and the perception of cultural change. Her previous focus has been on the early first millennium BCE, and she continues to explore the relevance of ancient and historical migration to our modern relationship with global migration and its management.
