D.C. City Archaeology Internships
The District of Columbia Office of Planning offers a number of exciting internships in Washington, D.C. The internship program is designed to offer students interested in the field of Planning, including Neighborhood and Citywide Planning, Development Review/Zoning, Urban Design, Geographic Information System/IT, State Data Center, Transportation Planning, Sustainability Planning and Historic Preservation.

Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) Internships
The NHHC offers internships to students who wish to have professional work experience in areas related to their educational programs and career goals. In addition to undertaking historical research, writing and editing, the NHHC operates the Navy Department Library, The Navy Museum and maintains collections of naval archives, photographs, artifacts and art. Internships are available in all of these areas. The Command is located in the Washington Navy Yard.
The internship application requirements include one letter of recommendation and an unofficial transcript.
