Dr. Kylie Quave
Dr. Quave is an archaeologist of the late prehispanic and Colonial Andes (11th-18th c.). She researches marginalized populations under Inka imperialism and Spanish colonialism in the Cuzco region of Peru, focusing on local social and economic responses such as the reorganization and continuation of craft economies. She directs the Yunkaray Archaeological Project and the Cuzco Archaeological Ceramics Project.
